Kenny Slaught Notes Mentorship Programs Helping Santa Barbara Community

The Parenting After Loss initiative runs for eight weeks and serves as a support network for parents and guardians, in addition to their children, after the loss of a family member. The education and support provided by this program are designed specifically around the emotional and physical repercussions of death within a family. Kenny Slaught believes that through participation in the program, families gain the skills they need to communicate more effectively between each other and as a result, grow stronger as a unit after experiencing a loss.
